We are committed to maintaining the highest standards of conduct in all aspects of our business, across every corner of the globe. Our ethical and responsible approach underpins our operations, our respect for individual rights, and our dedication to environmental stewardship.

We expect all our suppliers, agents, and business partners (collectively, “Suppliers”) to share and uphold these principles. Adherence to these standards is mandatory for any entity wishing to do business with us. By engaging with Baumastone, Suppliers affirm their compliance with our Code of Conduct, certifying that their practices align with the ethical standards we uphold for our products and materials. Failure to comply with these standards may result in the termination of our business relationship, alongside potential legal repercussions.

Ethical Practices and Legal Compliance

Associations and Collective Bargaining: We respect the right of all employees to lawfully associate, organize, and engage in collective bargaining in a peaceful manner without fear of penalty or interference.

Anti-Corruption: Baumastone strictly prohibits corruption, extortion, embezzlement, and bribery. All Suppliers must comply with international anti-corruption laws, including but not limited to the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and the UK Bribery Act, ensuring no improper advantages are sought through corruption or bribery.

Child Labor: The use of child labor is unequivocally banned. Baumastone adheres to the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child and the standards set by the International Labor Organization concerning the minimum age of employment and the prohibition of the worst forms of child labor. Suppliers discovered using child labor must implement corrective measures, prioritizing the welfare and development of the affected children.

Fair Treatment and Non-Discrimination: All employees must be treated with dignity and respect. We do not tolerate any form of harassment, discrimination, or abuse. Suppliers must ensure fair compensation, adhere to work hour regulations, and commit to non-discriminatory practices in all aspects of employment.

Health and Safety: Providing a safe and healthy workplace is non-negotiable. Suppliers must comply with all relevant laws and regulations to ensure worker safety, including adequate access to clean water, sanitary facilities, and safe living conditions where applicable.

Environmental Responsibility: Suppliers are expected to operate in an environmentally responsible manner, complying with all applicable laws and striving to minimize their environmental impact.

Conflict Minerals: Baumastone is dedicated to responsibly sourcing materials and expects Suppliers to ensure that provided minerals do not finance armed conflicts, aligning with global efforts towards conflict-free sourcing.

Monitoring and Enforcement

Compliance and Monitoring: Baumastone reserves the right to monitor Supplier compliance with this Code of Conduct through various means, including audits and inspections. Suppliers must maintain accurate records to demonstrate adherence to these standards.

Transparency and Reporting: Suppliers must promptly address any non-compliance issues and are encouraged to report any unethical behavior within their operations or supply chains. Baumastone is committed to working collaboratively with Suppliers to address and rectify reported issues.

We expect every Supplier to uphold these standards and to communicate them effectively within their organizations and supply chains.
